Trapped

Filed under: General — tigertate @ 9:38 pm

So here we are - another young lad caught up in the Canadian Justice system like a fly in a spider’s web.

No way out, struggle all you want, we’re not letting you go. There is no recourse, once in you’re trapped for life. The justice system hands you over to the Correctional System  and you become a number, an offender, an inmate. Freedom gone, stand up, sit down, move here, move there, eat this go to bed now.

A “lock down” we’ve found (or lost) a knife, stay in your 6 x 9 cell for 23 hours for ‘x’ number of days. Come out for a shower or a quick circuit in the exercise yard. We’ll bring in your food - too bad.
